Evaluated by Healthiest Employers®, the awards recognize organizations that go beyond traditional benefits to foster a culture that supports employees’ physical, mental, and financial well-being.

For University Orthopedics, that commitment includes a holistic approach to employee wellness and preventing burnout—an especially important focus for those working in healthcare. Employees have access to personalized wellness coaching with a health and holistic burnout coach, along with on-site fitness and yoga classes, mindfulness workshops, counseling services, and an employee assistance program.

Employee appreciation is also an important part of the organization’s wellness culture, including initiatives at University Orthopedics’ East Providence medical and physical therapy center designed to make gratitude part of the daily routine.

“Our organization’s greatest strength is our people. Consequently, we are committed to investing in user-friendly wellness tools and supporting healthy daily routines to help protect our employees,” said Jennifer Champlin, Director of Human Resources at University Orthopedics.

The sixth-place finish reflects University Orthopedics’ ongoing commitment to supporting the people who make the organization successful. By investing in employee health and well-being, UOI is not only building a stronger workplace but also helping its team continue to provide the exceptional care patients expect and deserve.
