University Orthopedics Named Official Orthopedic and Athletic Training Partner 2025 USA Gymnastics Championships in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (June 3, 2025) — University Orthopedics, Inc. (UOI), one of the region’s leading orthopedic and sports medicine practices, is proud to announce its partnership with the 2025 USA Gymnastics Championships as the Official Orthopedic and Athletic Training Partner for this year’s national event.

The USA Gymnastics Championships are returning to downtown Providence June 16–21, 2025, with elite competition hosted at the Amica Mutual Pavilion and developmental events held at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

As the U.S. national championship for rhythmic, trampoline and tumbling, and acrobatic gymnastics, the USA Gymnastics Championships will welcome approximately 2,000 elite and developmental athletes from across the country. Olympians and World Champions will compete for national titles and positions on the 2025–26 Senior and Junior National Teams.

“We are honored to support these exceptional athletes with our top-tier orthopedic and sports medicine expertise,” University Orthopedics Director of Physical Therapy Dave Pezzulo said. “Partnering with USA Gymnastics reinforces our deep commitment to athlete health, performance, and injury prevention at the highest levels of competition.”

Selections made during the Championships will determine rosters for key international events in 2025, including the FIG World Championships, The World Games, and various World Cups.

“We are grateful to have University Orthopedics as a partner for our USA Gymnastics Championships,” USAG Chief of Athlete Health and Wellness Kim Kranz said. “Having their practitioners at our biggest event of the year will help keep athletes healthy and safe as they compete for national titles.”

This year’s event marks a homecoming for Providence, which last hosted the USA Gymnastics Championships in 2016. The city’s robust infrastructure and strong sports medicine community, including University Orthopedics, make it an ideal destination for this elite event.
