Flat Back Fix Helps Joanne Find Relief From Severe Pain

Before coming to University Orthopedics, Joanne had to take multiple medications, including oxycodone, to control her severe pain. She had a condition called flat back syndrome, which was caused by previous back surgeries. She sought help from Dr. Bassel Diebo, a complex spine and scoliosis surgeon at UOI. Just three weeks after undergoing surgery at The Miriam Hospital, Joanne was pain-free and off all of her pain medication.
