In an effort to make sure all kids can start the school year on the right foot, University Orthopedics’ Charitable Giving Committee assisted Crossroads Rhode Island with its Back to School event.
The CGC provided more than 250 backpacks and school supplies for some of Rhode Island’s homeless children.
Some of the supplies were distributed Tuesday at Kingstown Crossing in North Kingstown – which, as one of Crossroad’s largest family housing units, houses approximately 165 school-age children.
In addition to supplies, 300 masks were donated by www.rapidwristbands.com .
