University Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Valentin Antoci is truly leading by example when it comes to staying active and fit.
He recently summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania after a six-day climb. He was even repping some UOI gear!
The tallest peak in Africa and the world’s tallest free-standing mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro stands 19,341 feet above sea level.
Dr. Antoci, who serves as the director of outpatient adult reconstruction at University Orthopedics, also serves as medical director at Newport Hospital’s total joint program.
