The Rhode Island Hospital Medical Staff Association has announced that Dr. Edward Akelman is the recipient of the 2025 Milton W. Hamolsky, MD Outstanding Physician of the Year Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Rhode Island Hospital medical staff.
